Seizing a long break to avoid the storm that is hitting Iceland today, this was my first landscape photo made with the Mavic 2 Pro drone.
The place was quite busy with drones and I do not like to fly when there´s someone else on the air, so had to patiently wait for about 45 minutes until I could do it. Powerlines nearby, high geomagnetic interference, a droner advising me not to fly because he had lost his video feed and extreme cold were giving me second thoughts. Still, my decision of not going up the canyon to shoot the gorgeous sunset behind me meant I could not pass up the opportunity and launched the Mavic. Flawless behavior fortunately, and flew it back “home” with no problems.
